14th Annual Mustang Round Up
On Saturday, September 2, of Labor Day weekend, MCCPA held the 14th Annual Mustang Round Up. The forecast said no rain until late afternoon...I think they meant rain until late afternoon. The still the turnout was great for a car show on a wet day. Thanks to the hard work of MCCPA members, this year we had by far the best door prizes, basket raffle and silent auction items. We also had Horner’s BBQ to supply everyone with great (and hot) food all day. We thank RMR for making a great showing and a big thanks to Carlisle Events for the venue.
Many MCCPA members arrived very early to set up, having a club with active members make this all possible.
Bring me the weatherman
Thanks to our vendors SnScroftgate, Carlisle Events and Horner’s BBQ. What an Impression left early because there is not a
big market in wet Mustang photos.
Million dollar idea for SnScroftage, something that you can spray on to dry your Mustang….
Apparently this is the appropriate Mustang fashion item for 2017.
Even with the rain we had a very nice selection of Mustangs. Thanks to Scott Clayton for being our staff photographer for the Mustang Round Up.
On a rainy day, the covered stage becomes the kitchen at a party, everyone migrates there. Luckily we had by far the best MCCPA selection of Basket and Silent Auction items available ever.
MCCPA Vice President Paul is the proud winner of a cat themed basket...the funny thing is that I am not sure he has a cat.
Everyone gets their tickets out for the drawings. The Basket and Silent Auction and 50/50 proceeds go to our Charity Leg Up Farms.
Nice looking trophies designed by Paul Bellis.
Congrats to all the trophy winners!
A special behinds the scenes pic, How many MCCPA members does it take to put on a show like this? Lots, thanks to all the helped Plan, Setup and run the 2017 Mustang Round Up!
